Documents you need for the PM Surya Ghar subsidy
Keep these ready before you register, and the application moves without delays.
Before you start
PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana is for homes with a domestic electricity connection. The connection should be in the name of the person applying, and you should own the roof or have the right to use it.

Common reasons for delay
- The electricity connection is in a parent's or previous owner's name. Get the name changed at KSEB first.
- The bank account name does not match the name on the application.
- The connection is commercial, not domestic.
- The subsidy has already been claimed for the same connection under an earlier scheme.
